  9. availability of NewtRTFM, a comprehensive and versatile Newton programming
  10. reference created by Sandeep Shah of K2 Consultants, Inc. of Nashua, NH.
  11. Containing more than 750 topics, NewtRTFM is a concise electronic summary of
  12. the NTK 1.0.1 documentation. A Newton-resident program with superior
  13. navigation, searching and experimentation capabilities, NewtRTFM essentially
  14. makes the NTK printed documentation obsolete and speeds Newton prototyping
  15. and development.

  17.     NewtRTFM lets a programmer browse its database by category or topic,
  18. partial string match, or sequentially. For each detailed topic the program
  19. includes a summary, an explanation of each function's arguments and return
  20. value where appropriate, a sample program, and customized developer notes
  21. which are integrated with the Newton's NotePad application and can be stored
  22. in user-designated folders. Many of the samples are live NewtonScript
  23. examples that can be executed. In addition, a developer can easily send the
  24. sample code to either the ViewFrame Newton debugger or the NTK's Inspector
  25. window for further examination or experimentation.

  27.     Because NewtRTFM is a Newton program, developers can use it in situations
  28. where it's not practical to carry printed documentation. While traveling,
  29. it's ideal for programming a Newton with a PowerBook or for just studying
  30. NewtonScript. The live samples and connections to ViewFrame and the Inspector
  31. provide a rich environment for quick experimentation. Even used at a desktop,
  32. the program's search and browse mechanisms can save a programmer an order of
  33. magnitude over using the printed documentation as a reference.

  36. Macintosh-formatted disks. It's retail price is $90, $80 for
